Ramon R. Keller of Lake Church formerly of Cedarburg passed away at his home in the early morning hours of Tuesday January 15 2013. He was 82 years old. He was born in Milwaukee the son of Solomon and Irene (nee Scheff) Keller on December 8 1930. He was in the US Army from November 26 1951 through November 10 1953. He spent time in Germany while in the service. After his discharge he began a 47 year career in the Bell System starting with Wisconsin Bell. He was united in marriage to the late Sharon A. (nee Johnson) on August 27 1955. Ramon loved to spend time with his children grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He enjoyed the family vacations and especially loved the Disney cruises and vacations. He also enjoyed playing blackjack with his long-time friend Aldo. His children were able to be with him for comfort and support right up until his death. He is survived by his children: Chris (Jolie) Keller of Mequon Keri (Leonard) Fleischmann of Lake Church Holly (Ray) Boehlke of Cedarburg Todd (Mary Jane) Keller of Arbor Vitae and Jill (Jeff) Fleischmann of Port Washington. He is further survived by his grandchildren: Anna Eric (Amanda) Joseph (Megan) Amanda (Evan) Joshua Lenny Jr. Jason (Amanda) Alycia (AJ) Amanda Jo (Anthony) Ryan and Brandon and his great-grandchildren: Natalie Emma Alexis Aubree Olivia Audrey Adrian Gabriel and Madison. He is also survived by his two sisters: Kathleen (James) Scharles and Suzanne (Edwin) Ramos sister-in-law Patricia (the late Tom) Johnson brother-in-law Lee (Karen) Johnson and many other family and friends. Ramon was preceded in death by his wife and traveling companion Sharon his grandson Justin his brothers Darryl and Ronald and his parents. A Memorial service will be held at 6PM on Friday January 18 2013 at St Peter UCC 166 W. Dekora St. in Saukville with Rev. Rebecca A. Johnston officiating. Ramon will be laid to rest beside Sharon at Union Cemetery in Saukville with full military honors. The family will receive visitors at the church on Friday evening from 3-6PM. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association.
