RALPHnbsp; H.nbsp; SEYFERTnbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp; Ralph Seyfert age 79 years of 1819 Woodview Circle Port Washington died Wednesday morning November 5 2008 at Heritage Nursing Home in Port Washington.nbsp; He was born August 18 1929 in Port Washington son of the late Fred ldquo;Fritzrdquo; and Elva Race Seyfert.nbsp; He was a graduate of Port Washington High School and UW Madison.nbsp; Mr. Seyfert proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1953 until 1955. He taught art at Homestead High School in Mequon for many years before retiring. He is survived by his sister in law Marjorie Seyfert of Wheaton IL his nephew Karl (Ann Marie) Seyfert of Cleveland Ohio two nieces Carol (Kenn) Rousar of Winfield IL and Jean (William) Hinneberg of Hudson Ohio other relatives and friends.nbsp; He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother LeRoy. nbsp;Ralph was a lifelong member of Friedens Evangelical Church.nbsp; He was also a member of the Port Washington Historical Society the Ozaukee County Historical Society the Port Washington Senior Center and the Cedarburg Cultural Center. Ralph loved talking about teaching and education with his friends from the Retired Teacherrsquo;s Association and enjoyed attending picnics with them in the summer.nbsp; Mr. Seyfert loved listening to good music and often went to the symphony in Milwaukee and traveled to Chicago to visit his family and attend the opera. nbsp;Funeral Saturday Nov. 8 2 PM at Friedens Evangelical Church in Port Washington with Pastor Don Zahurance and Dr. Stanley Conrad officiating.nbsp; Burial in Saukville Union Cemetery.nbsp; Visitation at the CHURCH Saturday from 12-2 PM.nbsp; Memorials to Friedens Evangelical Church appreciated.nbsp; The Eernisse Funeral Home Port Washington is assisting with arrangements.
