Ralph Klopp passed away Wednesday evening March 6 2013 at Harbor Cove where he had been residing for the last three years. He was 91 years old. Ralph was born in Port Washington on February 10 1922 son of Albert and Adeline Klotz Klopp. After his schooling Ralph proudly served his country in the US Army Air Force during World War II. On May 7 1949 he was united in marriage with Elizabeth Sturges at St. John's Lutheran Church in Port Washington. She preceded him in death in 2003. Mr. Klopp was a turbine operator with Wisconsin Electric. Ralph was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and a member of American Legion Post 82. He enjoyed going up north hunting fishing and gardening. Mr. Klopp is survived by his 2 children: Steve (Dianna) Klopp of Fredonia and Craig Klopp of the Town of Grafton. He is further survived by 4 granddaughters: Elizabeth Jennifer Kaylee and Heather and one brother Gerald (Phyllis) Klopp of Mount Morris other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife son Daniel 2 brothers: Burt and Al Klopp and 3 sisters: Margaret Quale Delores Paltz and Joyce Klein. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday March 15th at St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Rev. Kenton Wendorf and Rev. Vernon Heim will preside. Ralph will be laid to rest beside his wife in Union Cemetery Port Washington with full military honors. The family will receive visitors at the church on Friday from 12 noon - 1PM. In lieu of flowers memorials suggested to Stars and Stripes Honor Flight or St. Paul Lutheran Church in Grafton.
