Obituary

Mrs. Rachel B. Wilkens of Knorr Road in Random Lake passed away Tuesday afternoon February 5 2008 at her home. She was 54 years old. Rachel was born May 30 1953 in Port Washington the daughter of Alfred and Esther Liebenstein Rose. On August 1 1980 she married Kenneth Wilkens on the Port Washington bluff. She worked as a secretary at Acuity Insurance in Sheboygan until late 2007. She enjoyed sewing needlework traveling and taking photographs of her family and friends. She was an avid Nascar fan during the 1980's and early 1990's especially of local racer Alan Kulwicki. Mrs. Wilkens is survived by her husband Ken of Random Lake one brother William (Jill) Rose of rural Adell and three sisters: Carol Nelsen of Council Bluffs IA Sandy (Marty) Grimord of Gallitin TN and Linda (Myron) Kellar of Port Washington. She is further survived by her mother-in-law Gladys Hiller of West Bend one brother-in-law Gerald Wilkens of Albuquerque NM two step-sisters-in-law: Karen (Bob) Belger of Boltonville and Jane (Jim) Jung of West Bend aunts uncles cousins nieces nephews great nieces and nephews and many friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday February 9 2008 at the Eernisse Funeral Home 1600 W. Grand Ave. (Hwy 33 Hwy LL) in Port Washington at 2 PM. Rachel will be laid to rest in St. John's Cemetery in Fredonia. The family will receive visitors at the Funeral Home from 12-2PM.
