QUINTIN N. KLOS Quintin (Quin) Nicolas Klos passed away at St. Joseph's Hospital in Milwaukee on Wednesday August 31 2005 as a result of complications after heart surgery. He was 77 years old. Quin was born on the family farm in the Town of Belgium on May 27 1928 the son of Nicholas and Catherine Schueller Klos. He was united in marriage with Dorothy Goschey on May 20 1950 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in the Town of Belgium. Quin served in the Korean War with the 101st airborne division from 1952-1954. He worked as a Leadman at Bolen's in Port Washington retiring after 42 years of service in 1993. Quin and Dorothy have been members of St. Mary's Parish Lake Church for most of their married lives. He was also a member of American Legion Post 470. Mr. Klos was an avid golfer and sheepshead player. He enjoyed walking and was very good at fixing things. He loved spending time with his family and helping them with their various projects. Quin and Dorothy lived the winter months in Florida for the last 9 years. Quin is survived by Dorothy his loving wife of 55 years and their six children: Jeffrey Klos of Belgium Jeanne (Ken) Hoopman Brian (Karen) Klos Donna (Randy) Lis all of Cedar Grove Paul (Jill) Klos of Sun Prairie and Jim.Klos of Cedar Grove Quin and Dorothy have 13 grandchildren (Marcia Jamie and Sara Chad Kari and Courtney Bradley and Michael Jeremy and Brandon Heather and Carlie and Troy and 3 great- grandchildren: Elysia Quinn and Mason. Mr. Klos is further survived by three sisters: Elvera (the late Edward Hetzel) of Saukville Rita (Robert) Goschey of Belgium Harriet (The late Harvey) Tholl of Belgium one brother Stanley (Maryann) Klos of West Bend and one sister-in-law Evelyn (Glen) Hayes of Port Washington nieces nephews other relatives and many friends. Quin is preceded in death by three sisters: Lozelle Thill -Besch Alberta Carriveau Camilla Hubing and two brothers: Elroy and Norbert Klos. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday September 3 2005 going from the Eernisse Funeral Home 171 N. Royal Ave. (Hwy LL Park St.) Belgium at 10:30 AM to St. Mary Catholic Church Lake Church for Mass at 11AM. Father James Vojtik will officiate. Visitation for Quin will be on Friday Sept. 2nd from 4-8PM and Saturday Sept. 3rd from 9:30-10::30AM at the Funeral Home.
