PHYLLIS A. WENZEL Mrs. Phyllis Wenzel of Main Street in Saukville passed away Monday evening January 16 2006 at Heritage Nursing Home in Port Washington. She was 74 years old. Phyllis was born on November 11 1931 in Hudson WI daughter of John and Myrtice Harlander Sawyer. She was united in marriage with Calvin Cal Wenzel on September 5 1953 in Milwaukee. Mrs. Wenzel worked as a clerk for Wacker Corporation in Milwaukee retiring after 20 years. She was a member of Grand Ave. United Methodist Church in Port Washington. Phyllis was an avid reader and cherished her time spent with a cup of coffee and a book in the morning. She enjoyed spending time with her children grandchildren and her husband and their vacations in Door County and the state of Washington. She is survived by her husband Cal of Saukville their seven children: Guy (Christine) Wenzel of West Bend Mark (Kathy) Wenzel of Port Washington Cindy (Bill) Large of Belgium Vicki (Christopher) Wenzel-Lesar of Cedarburg Kari (Glen) Beder of Newburg Becky (Greg) Werner of West Bend and Gale (Joe) Sigler of Fredonia. She is also survived by her 15 cherished grandchildren: Guy II (Vanessa) Wenzel of West Allis Seth Wenzel of West Bend Jenny Ballbach of Port Washington Melinda (Phil Sprader) Large of Belgium Jackie (Trevor Lukens)Large of Cedar Grove Alex Large of Belgium Brandon Carly and Dylan Lesar all of Cedarburg CJ and Jacob Werner both of West Bend and Jori Cody Bobbie Jo and Ryder Sigler all of Fredonia and 3 great-grandchildren: Zackary Nicolas and Guy III Wenzel all of West Allis. Mrs. Wenzel is further survived by a brother Charles (Joan) Sawyer of Sequim WA a sister Nancy Berens of Madison and aunt Helen Hela Dent of Gardiner WA and an uncle John Harlander of Sacramento CA nieces nephews other relatives and many friends.
