Phyllis Carol TeStrake of Grafton, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at the age of 84. She was born the beloved daughter of Earl and Helen (Peterson) Redlin on December 6, 1939. On May 19, 1962, Phyllis was united in marriage to John TeStrake and together raised two beautiful daughters.

Phyllis was a proud graduate from Colby High School. She was a Navy wife and moved several times before settling in Grafton, WI. They were active long-time members of Pilgrim United Church of Christ. Phyllis enjoyed gardening, reading and listening to music. The couple played Sheepshead with family and friends. She recently mentioned to a family member that "she was living her best life and that she was happy." Above all Phyllis cherished the time spent with her family.

Phyllis is survived by her daughters Kathryn (Shawn) Bowman of Dayton, OH and Linda (Shawn) Bartsch of Mequon. She is further survived by three granddaughters: Sara Sue Bowman, Keira Helen and Keighly Ann Bartsch and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her husband John, her parents and siblings Bob Redlin, Beverly Helton and Mary Lemke.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 28, 2024 at 12PM at Pilgrim United Church of Christ, 1621 2nd Ave., Grafton. Pastor Ashley Nolte will preside. The family will receive visitors from 10:30am until the time of the service at 12 PM. Immediately following the service, Phyllis will be laid to rest next to her husband John in Woodlawn Cemetery, Grafton.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to Pilgrim United Church of Christ or the Cancer Research Institute.
