PHYLLISnbsp; R.nbsp; LIEBENSTEIN nbsp;Mrs. Phyllis Liebenstein age 84 years of West Bend formerly of Port Washington died Saturday Sept. 6 2008 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.nbsp; She was born May 11 1924 in Parkston South Dakota daughter of Ernest and Martha Fuerst Wuertzer.nbsp; She graduated from Parkston High School and moved to Port Washington in 1943 and secured a secretarial position at Kieckhafer Corp. in Cedarburg.nbsp; On September 22 1945 she married Edward C. Liebenstein.nbsp; The couple farmed in the Town of Port Washington until moving to West Bend in 1995.nbsp; Phyllis was a devoted wife and beloved mother of five children.nbsp; She enjoyed baking gardening sewing and various other crafts.nbsp; She was a member of Grand Ave. United Methodist Church in Port Washington where she enjoyed the fellowship of the Ladies Aid and sang in the church choir for many years.nbsp; In addition to her husband of 63 years Phyllis is survived by three daughters Lynette Devine of Kennesaw GA Sharon Laux and Shirley Henning both of West Bend two sons Gerald (Dianne) Liebenstein of Normal IL and Brian Liebenstein of Rockford IL six grandsons Michael (Michelle) Liebenstein Scott (Barbi) Henning Kevin (Heather) Laux Curtis Liebenstein Eric and Kyle Henning six granddaughters Sara (George) Carter Melissa (Ben) Doetch Cheryl Laux Aimee Liebenstein Rebecca Henning and Dana Liebenstein two greatgrandsons Caden and Grant Liebensteinnbsp;sister Marcella Heitzman of Parkston South Dakota and two sisters-in-law: Lillian and Delores Wuertzer. She was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers Raymond Norman Louis and Donald Wuertzer and one grandson Jeffrey Devine.nbsp; Funeral Saturday September 13 3 PM at Grand Ave. United Methodist Church 505 W. Grand Ave. Port Washington with Pastor David Guse officiating.nbsp; Burial will be in Union Cemetery Port Washington.nbsp; Visitation at the CHURCH Saturday from 1-3 PM.nbsp; Memorials to Grand Ave. United Methodist Church appreciated.nbsp; The Eernisse Funeral Home Port Washington is assisting the family with arrangements. br /Service:br /pFuneral Saturday September 13 3PM at Grand Ave. United Methodist Church 505 W.
