PHYLLIS E. KLOPP Mrs. Phyllis Klopp currently of Wautoma formerly of Port Washington and Tomahawk passed away at Heartland House in Wautoma early Tuesday morning October 21 2014. She was 90 years old. Phyllis was born in Lake Elmo MN on February 17 1924 daughter of Eugene and Agnes Richert Haseley. After moving to Wisconsin Phyllis graduated from Port Washington High School in 1942. On June 17 1946 Phyllis was united in marriage with Gerald Klopp at St. John's Lutheran Church in Port Washington. The couple settled in Port Washington where they raised their family. In 1980 Phyllis and Gerald moved to Tomahawk to enjoy retirement and later moved to Mt. Morris to be closer to family. She was a devoted and loving wife and mother who cherished her children grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Phyllis was a kind woman who cared about the welfare of others readily contributing to charities and regularly participating in the prayer circle of her church. She remained close to her siblings and cousins and maintained many life-long friendships corresponding by letter or making visits throughout the US. Phyllis is survived by her husband Gerald and their four children: Roger (Mary) Klopp of Stoughton Paul (Victoria) Klopp of Port Washington Carol (Gary) Frank of Mt. Morris and Stuart (Monica) Klopp of Alma CO eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She is further survived by sisters Carol Entress of Grafton and Nancy (Paul Duke) Swatek of Lake Geneva brothers Warren (Bernice) Haseley of Port Washington Donald (Lillian) Haseley also of Port Washington Eugene (Betty Ann) Haseley of Lake Geneva a sister-in-law Betty Jane Haseley of Paw Paw MI many nieces nephews cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents a sister Adene a brother Leonard Skip Haseley and a brother-in-law Lawrence Entress. The family will receive visitors at Eernisse Funeral Home 1600 W. Grand Avenue in Port Washington on Sunday October 26th from 2PM until 4PM. Funeral services will follow at 4PM with the Rev. Steven Mueller from St. John's Lutheran Church in Townsend officiating. She will be laid to rest in a private service at Union Cemetery in Port Washington the following day. Memorials are suggested to Lutheran World Missions.
