Phillip S. Bloedel of Cedar Grove was called home peacefully, surrounded by family on Sunday, October 29, 2023 at the age of 85. Phil was born in Janesville to Edmund and Dorothy Bloedel on December 7, 1937. He married the love of his life Donna Robbins on June 13, 1959 and together had three children.

Phil loved the Lord. He was a kind, patient and loving father who enjoyed making his grandchildren and great-grandchildren laugh. Phil was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was generous with his woodworking talents, donating shelves and other items to organizations and family. Phil enjoyed working with children and young adults as a Boy Scout Leader, Sunday School teacher and Bible Study leader. In his earlier years he was an EMT. Phil enjoyed the great outdoors, but above all he treasured time spent with family.

Phillip will remain in the hearts of his devoted wife Donna, his children Robin (Bob) Landon, Steven (Gloria Miller) Bloedel and Bonnie (Steve) Claerbaut; grandchildren David Landon, Todd Landon, Joseph Landon, Crystal Seibel, Benjamin (Victoria) Williams, Bissa (Tony) Cragun, Sara (Sean) Mahoney, Kaitlyn (Evan Seibel) Claerbaut, Alexander (Cierra Griffin) Claerbaut and Jennifer Claerbaut; great-grandchildren Joseph, Tristan, Bowen, Waahinhewin, Kelani, Kaden, and Alhora; special extended family Kari (Louie) Morales, Chiharu Ventura (Yuya, Saaya and Gabe), Carol Williams and Andrew Seibel; siblings Ed (Gwen) Bloedel and Rev. Dave (Barb) Bloedel; special friend Hubert (Diana) Nett. He is further survived by other relatives and good friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Don Bloedel.

A private memorial service will be held at Emmanuel Lutheran, Adell. Phillip will be laid to rest at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
