PETER N. PAULUS SR. Peter N. Paulus Sr. age 90 years of formerly of the Town of Fredonia died Tuesday evening August 26 2003 at Woodland View Estate assisted living in Fredonia where he been a resident for the past year and a half. He was born March 25 1913 in Waubeka son of the late Peter J. and Elizabeth Rieth Paulus. On April 30 1935 he married Clara Kultgen at St. Mary's Catholic Church Port Washington. The couple farmed in the Town of Fredonia until retiring. She preceded him in death in 1991. In addition to farming Mr. Paulus worked as a mason for 45 years. He was a member of Holy Rosary Parish Catholic Order of Foresters and the Catholic Knights. Mr. Paulus is survived by 9 children Pauline (Henry) Franzen of Sheboygan Falls Peter A. (Carol) of Belgium Raymond M. (Sheila) of Council Bluff Iowa Daniel A. (Jane) of Fredonia Gary P. (Marie) of Fredonia Steven T. (Karen) of Fredonia Timothy A. (Barbara) of Gleason Wayne H. (Barbara) of Belgium and Perry R. of Fredonia 33 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife 1 son Aloys R. 1 granddaughter and 3 sisters. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday August 30 10 am at Holy Rosary Parish Holy Cross Chapel Hwy. B Town of Belgium. Entombment will be in St. Mary's Mausoleum Port Washington. Friends may call at the Eernisse Funeral Home 171 N. Royal Ave. Belgium Friday from 4-8 pm and on Saturday from 8:30 am until 9:30 am. A parish vigil will be held on Friday at 6 pm at the funeral home.
