Peter Colla of Saukville passed away on Tuesday, November 2, 2021. He was 83 years old. Peter was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on June 19, 1938, to parents Peter and Lucille (nee Jones) Colla. He graduated from Rufus King High School and later moved to Phoenix Arizona, where he was a manager within a high school athletic department. Pete's sense of humor was infectious, he always put a smile on everyone's face. Pete enjoyed offering a helping hand. His past time favorite actives were watching the Packers, the Brewers and playing a strategic game of Chess or Sheepshead. Pete's creative side was admired through his sketching abilities. Those left to cherish his memory include his sons Peter (Anna) Colla and Steven Colla, eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, sisters Rita (the late James) Wengel and Susan (Michael) Manning. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends. A Memorial Mass will be held at 6PM on Thursday, November 11 at St. John XXIII – Immaculate Conception Chapel, 145 W. Church St., Saukville. Father Patrick Wendt will preside. The family will receive visitors at the CHURCH on Thursday from 4PM until the time of mass at 6PM.
