Peter J. Clancy, Jr. of Cedarburg, WI, with his devoted wife of 56 years and his daughter by his side, Peter was born to Eternal Life on Mon., June 27, 2016 at the age of 79. Beloved husband of Frances (nee Galipo). Loving father of Michelle Clancy Foeger. Proud grandfather of Christina. Dear brother of James (Connie), John, Eileen Lussier (Andre), Robert (MaryJo) and William Clancy. Preceded in death by his parents Peter J. and Neoma (nee Bower) Clancy, Sr. and his brother Thomas (Evelyn). Further survived by his special lifelong friend Victor DiCristo, along with many nieces, nephews, relatives and many wonderful friends. Peter was born in Manhattan, New York in 1937 to Peter J. and Neoma Clancy, Sr. Shortly after, they moved to the Bronx, New York. When he was 18, he moved to Wisconsin and attended Marquette University in Milwaukee for Electrical Engineering. In 1960, he married Frances Galipo. In addition, Peter also served in the United States Navy for four years. Peter was a very modest man, who did not flaunt his many accomplishments. He worked at Allen-Bradley in Milwaukee for over 25 years. He remained with Allen-Bradley through its transition to Rockwell Automation, where he supervised a large workforce. Peter will be greatly missed for his quiet charm, his refined sense of humor - his famous saying when asked how he was doing, "I'm in great shape for the shape I'm in", his pleasant demeanor, his respect for people, and the joy he showed to others when anyone visited with him. Now that you have gone to your well-earned rest Peter, we will treasure the time spent with you, knowing that you earned your rest, knowing that you deserved to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ in Heaven, where He prepared a special place for you, because of your love for Him, His Church and all of His creation. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:30 AM on Sat. July 9, 2016 at St. Francis Borgia Church-North, 1375 Covered Bridge Rd, Cedarburg, WI 53012. The family will greet relatives and friends on Saturday at the Church from 10:30 AM until time of Mass. Burial with Military Honors at the Church Cemetery to follow.
