PERCY F. ETERNICK Mr. Percy Eternick of Port Washington passed away peacefully Sunday evening May 12 2013 at Heritage Nursing Rehabilitation Center in Port Washington where he had been a resident for the last eight years. He was 93 years old. Percy was born in Columbus WI on July 27 1919 son of Frank and Vieva Lockwood Eternick. He was united in marriage with Elizabeth Betty Lodle at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Port Washington on May 28 1946. The couple settled in Port on East Walters Street. Percy worked as a subcontractor for the United States Postal Service driving the mail where it needed to go. He retired in 1982. Betty preceded him in death in 2004. Mr. Eternick was a longtime member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. He enjoyed word puzzles playing cards (preferably Sheepshead) and Bingo. Percy is survived by his sister Lavern Mayer of Milwaukee sisters-in-law Helen (John) Hansen of Port Washington Mary Jane Murphy of Jackson and Marcy Eternick of Milwaukee. He is further survived by nieces nephews other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife Betty their infant daughter Marylin and two brothers: Gerald and Roger Eternick. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday May 15 at St. Mary's Catholic Church 430 Johnson St. Port Washington. Father Thomas Lajewski will officiate. He will be laid to rest beside his wife in the parish cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the CHURCH on Wednesday from 10 AM until Mass at 10:30 AM.
