Obituary

PEGGY LEE BLAUBACH Mrs. Peg Blaubach of Elm Court in Port Washington passed away at Lawlis Family Hospice Center in Mequon Thursday morning November 14 2013 following a battle with cancer. She was 65 years old. Peggy was born near Fountain City WI on October 4 1948 daughter of Stanley and Irene Bloom Korb. Her family moved to Cedarburg and Peggy attended local schools graduating from Cedarburg High School as a proud member of the Class of 1966. On October 21 1972 she was united in marriage with Dale R. Blaubach at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Saukville. The couple settled in the Cedarburg area before moving to Port Washington in 1974. Mrs. Blaubach worked as a medical receptionist for various doctors around the area for many years and more recently as a receptionist for Construction Forms in Port Washington before she retired in 2009. Peggy was a member of St. Mary's Parish in Port Washington and a former member of St. Francis Borgia Parish in Cedarburg. She was an avid reader and a longtime volunteer at St. Mary Catholic Schools. For many years Mrs. Blaubach ran registration for the local Milwaukee Kickers soccer club and was one of the areas original Soccer Moms. She enjoyed going on casino junkets with her sisters and friends and was always up for a quick road trip. Peggy is survived by her husband Dale and their three boys: Christopher (Annie) Blaubach of Winterville NC Brad (Tracy) Blaubach of Cedar Grove and Matthew Blaubach (close friend Alyssa Theis) of Port Washington. She is also survived by four grandchildren: Bailey Jaeden Natalie and Addison three sisters: Bonnie ( the late James) Commons of Mequon Kathy (Terry) Marcum of Bakersfield CA and Patricia (Richard) Bronk of Tacoma WA. Further survivors include her mother-in-law Margaret Blaubach of Belgium brother-in-law David (Charlene) Blaubach of Grafton and sister-in-law Karlynn (Roger) Mayer of Belgium nieces nephews other relatives and many friends. She is preceded in death by her parents. Funeral Services will be held at 6:30 PM on Tuesday November 19th at St. Mary's Catholic Church 430 Johnson St. Port Washington. Father Tom Lijewski will preside. She will be taken to the parish cemetery the next day. The family will receive visitors at CHURCH on Tuesday from 3:30-6:30 PM. Memorials in her name are suggested to either Port Catholic Tuition Assistance or to Relay For Life. The Eernisse Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
