Mr. Paul Lemke of Hwy O in the Town of Saukville passed away at Heritage Rehabilitation and Nursing Home in Port Washington Monday morning February 2 2015. He was 91 years old. Paul was born in the Town of Trenton on October 5 1923 son of Otto and Amanda Volbrecht Lemke. On April 3 1948 Paul was united in marriage with Pearl Fischer at Trinity Lutheran Church in the Town of Jackson. The couple farmed in the Town of Saukville for many years. Pearl preceded him in death in 2011. Mr. Lemke was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Grafton. He was also a member of the Northern Ozaukee School Board for 12 years the Town of Saukville Assessor for 2 years and had spent a number of years on the Planning Commission also. Paul farmed and had also worked at the Waubeka Feed Mill for over thirty years. He enjoyed woodworking playing a lively game of sheepshead and watching the Packers Brewers; recently he had also started watching televised golf. Paul is survived by his three sons: Paul (Diane) Lemke of Kewaskum John (Priscilla) Lemke and Mark (Mary) Lemke both of Saukville. He is further survived by eight grandchildren 5 step-grandchildren 15 great-grandchildren 1 step-great-grandchild sister June (Willard) Rosenthal of West Bend nieces nephews other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife Pearl and brother Louis. Funeral Services will be held at 4PM on Tuesday February 10th at Our Savior Lutheran Church 1332 Arrowhead Road Grafton. Pastor Mark Wagner will preside. Paul will be laid to rest beside his wife in Waubeka Union Cemetery at a later date. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday before the service from 2-4PM at the CHURCH. If desired memorials are suggested to Our Savior Lutheran Church.
