Mr. Paul "Mike" Ryan of Port Washington, Wisconsin passed away at his home early Saturday morning, January 13, 2024. He was 77 years old.

Paul was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on April 26, 1946, son of John T. and Esther Peters Ryan. Mr. Ryan served in the US Army as a Construction Machine Operator from 1966-1969.

On April 13, 1974, Mike was united in marriage with Nancy Schilz. The couple settled in Cincinnati and began their family before moving to Wisconsin in 1988. Nancy preceded Mike in death in 2012.

Mike loved music, especially listening to blues or rock & roll, and would often play along with his harmonica. He was a skilled mechanic who enjoyed working on cars and motorcycles – and seeing how fast they could go. An excellent storyteller and a very social man, Mike was often described as "the life of the party" by his friends.

Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter Paula (Christian) Zaja and granddaughter Brenya Zaja, as well as daughter Lori Ryan. He is further survived by brothers Ryan and Daniel Mills, other family, and many friends. Mike is preceded in death by his wife Nancy, parents John and Esther, sister Patricia "Patsy" Ryan and brother Bryan Mills.

Private family services will be held; Mike will be laid to rest beside his wife in Immanuel Cemetery in Cedarburg, Wisconsin at a later date.
