Patrick E. MorganMr. Patrick Morgan of Random Lake passed away early Thursday morning February 17 2011 at Gables on the Pond in Random Lake where he had resided for the last year. He was 78 years old. Patrick was born September 26 1932 in Fond du Lac the son of John ldquo;Earlrdquo; and Elizabeth Crowley Morgan. He attended Random Lake High School and then joined the United States Navy. While serving in Texas he met Carolyn Linscomb and they were united in marriage on May 8 1954 in Orange Texas before returning to Random Lake. Carolyn preceded him in death in 1997. nbsp;He was employed for nearly 40 years at Briggs and Stratton in Milwaukee where he retired in 1988 as a supervisor. Mr. Morgan was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes St. Maryrsquo;s Chapel in Random Lake as well as a member and past post commander of the Random Lake Hamm Miller American Legion Post #145. Patrick was very proud of his Irish heritage. He enjoyed going for car rides with Carolyn attending auctions in search of antiques refurbishing furniture and antiques and spending time with family and friends.nbsp; Patrick is survived by his five children: Mike (Gwen) Morgan of Grafton Beverly (Jeff) Dakota of Bozeman MT Nancy (Ron) Ernst of Waldo Debra Morgan of Madison and Kris (Ed) Boogren of Coral Springs FL 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He is further survived by 2 brothers: Tom (Mary) Morgan and Hugh (Ruth) Morgan both of Random Lake sister-in-law Julaine Morgan of Grafton special friend Audrey Mueller of Random Lake nieces nephews other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife Carolyn brother Jack Morgan and his sisters Kathleen Schild Mary May and Patsy Ann Morgan. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 6PM on Monday February 21 at Our Lady of the Lakes St. Maryrsquo;s Chapel 230 Butler St. in Random Lake. Father Richard Cerpich will officiate. He will be laid to rest beside Carolyn in the parish cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the church on Monday from 3-6PM. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Stars and Stripes Honor Flight. The Eernisse Funeral Home Belgium is assisting the family with arrangements.
