Patricia Ellen Wagen of Port Washington passed away on the morning of Thursday, October 3, 2019 at the age of 83. She was born in Fox Lake, Illinois to John and Elizabeth Newlen on November 14, 1935. Patricia married Elmer "Al" Mannes Jr. on December 31, 1956 and together they had five children. Al passed away in 1972. She later married her 2nd husband James Wagen on October 1, 1973. Pat was mainly a stay at home mom as her children were growing up. She and her husband Jim purchased the Forest Lodge Resort in Boulder Junction and ran the resort for several years. They later became the proprietors of Wagen's Bar & Grill in Saukville and ran that for 25 years. Pat will always be remembered for her famous soups on the menu at the tavern. Patricia is survived by her children, Dani (Ron) Faucette, Joel Mannes, Jay (Mary) Mannes and James Mannes; grandchildren, Ronald G. Faucette 3rd, Richard (Ashley) Faucette, Harley Mannes, Jackie Mannes; great-granddaughter, Ryan Faucette; good friend, William Heyden. She is further survived by other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Al Mannes, 2nd husband James Wagen, her son John Mannes and sisters, Daisy, Cora, and Florence. Patricia will be laid to rest at Resurrection Cemetery in Mequon, WI. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday October 12, 2019 at Cedars III Bowling Center (W53 N404 Park Circle, Cedarburg, WI 53012) from 12-3PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to a charity of your choosing. The family would like to express a special thank-you to the staff at Horizon-Lawlis Hospice in Mequon.
