Obituary

Mrs. Patricia Pride of Port Washington passed away at Ascension Columbia-St. Mary's Hospital in Milwaukee on Thursday, January 14, 2021. She was 83 years old. Patricia was born May 30, 1937 to Joseph and Marion Allen Zellner. She grew up in St. Germain and attended local schools. Following her graduation from St. Germain High School, she moved to Milwaukee where she met John "Jack" Pride. The couple fell in love and later were united in marriage in Dubuque, IA, on July 17, 1959. They lived briefly in Grafton before building a home in Port Washington and settling there with their children in 1965. Mrs. Pride worked as a cashier at Sentry Foods in Port Washington for over 35 years. She loved her family and always put them first. Patricia enjoyed a good game of cards, especially Rummy Royal; she and her husband would occasionally journey to Las Vegas where she would play Black Jack. She was a member of the Red Hat Society, and liked going to Brewers games with family and friends. Survivors include her son Jim Pride of Newburg, daughter Dawn (William) Pasbrig of Port Washington and daughter-in-law Linda Pride of Port Washington. She is further survived by nine grandchildren: Kari (Mark) Pasbrig-Wissing, Ryan (Cassie) Pasbrig, Adam (Karlee) Pasbrig, Taylor (fiancé Austen) Pride, Shelley (Nick) Maciejewski, Mike (Amanda) Pride, Thomas (Mandy) Pride, Linda (Mike) Pasbrig-Molenaar and Bill (Wyn) Pasbrig, eleven great-grandchildren: Callie Pasbrig, Shane & Madison Wissing, Becca & Ben Pride, Mason, Miles & Madeline Maciejewski, Shauna Pasbrig and Krystal & Cody Pasbrig. She is also survived by her sister Louellen "Lolly" (the late Ralph) Kutcher, nieces, nephews, other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband John ""Jack" Pride, their son Jack Pride, Jr., sister Marge Jones and brothers Joe, Jim and Bud Zellner. At her request, no formal services will be held. Patricia will be laid to rest beside her husband at St. Mary's Cemetery, Port Washington.
