Patricia M. Burris, 87, of Belgium died on Monday, December 18, 2023, at home with family at her side.
She was born on March 10th, 1936, in Sheboygan, WI the daughter of Peter and Rose (Schueller) Tackes. In 1957, she married William Burris at St. Nicholas Church in Dacada. Mrs. Burris worked for Port Washington Savings and Loan, co-owned Spruce Up-Holstery with her nephew, but was most importantly a homemaker and mother devoted to her family.
Patricia was proud of and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a collector of many things including Barbie, American Girl dolls, nutcrackers, angels, bells, and other unique items. She also loved to go dancing, read, play sheepshead, garden, sew, crochet, paint ceramics, attend auctions, put puzzles together, cheer for the Packers, and spend time with her family and dog Pepper.
Survivors include four sons, Phil (Linda) Burris of Augusta, GA, Pat (Kathy) Burris of Madison, AL, John (Amy) Burris of Jacksonport, and Bill (Jenna) Burris of Kohler; four daughters, Karen Burris of Chicago, IL, Sandy (Tim) Wolff of Fredonia, Julie (Keith) Carbaugh of Plymouth, and Jackie (Dan) Nowacki of Kewaskum; her grandchildren, Nina Burris, Michael, Shawn (Hannah), Kevin, and Daniel Burris, Brittany, Jake, Amy, and Carla Wolff, Stephanie (Wayne) Harris, Emily (Mitch) Kuster, Megan, Adam, and Tessy Carbaugh, Ellie Burris, Ben and Jill Burris, Nora and Ted Nowacki; and numerous other relatives.
Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, granddaughter Dana Nowacki, parents, and sister Norma (the late Francis) Schmitz.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:30PM on Thursday, December 28th, at Our Lady of the Lakes – St Nicholas Chapel, Dacada (W4274 Co Hwy K, Random Lake, WI 53075) with Father Gideon Buya presiding. The family will receive guests at the church from 10:30AM until the time of service at 12:30PM. Pat will be laid to rest beside her husband in at St. Nicholas Catholic Cemetery immediately following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice in Sheboygan Falls are appreciated.
