Obituary

Mr. Norman Klahn, of Bishop Drive in Germantown, passed away at Lasata Health & Rehab Center in Cedarburg on Tuesday evening, November 1, 2016. He was 75 years old. Norm was born in Sheboygan on September 25, 1941, son of Norman and Agnes Hynick Klahn. The family moved to Milwaukee while he was young and Norm attended local schools, graduating from Riverside High School in 1959. On October 5, 1963 Norman was united in marriage with Lynda Williams at Lake Park Lutheran Church in Milwaukee. The couple settled in Milwaukee before moving to Germantown in 1971. Mr. Klahn owned Norm's Phillips 66 Service Station on the corner of 124th & Burleigh for a number of years, before taking a position at Voigt's Phillips 66 Station on the corner of 54th & North Ave.. While his daughters were growing up, Norm enjoyed camping with his family almost every weekend. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR and the Green Bay Packers. Mr. Klahn is survived by his wife Lynda Klahn of 53 years, and their daughters Kelly Paradowski and Sheri (Ricardo) Ortiz both of Port Washington. He is further survived by his sister Mary (the late Paul) Lydolph of Elkhart Lake and six grandchildren: Shay, Kylee, Abby & Shelby Paradowski, and Hayden & Gabrielle Ortiz. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Ramon Klahn. A celebration in honor of Norm's life will be held on Saturday, November 19th from 2-5 pm at 1640 New Port Vista Drive in Grafton.
