Norman Clarence Jessie, age 78, passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Columbia-St. Mary Ozaukee Hospital in Mequon. He was born in Baraboo on November 1, 1939, the son of Clarence and Florence (Mielke) Jessie. He graduated from Prairie du Sac High School, class of 1957, and from Stevens Point State Teacher's College in 1964, where he was active in the Men's Glee Club. For most of his adult life, Norm was a salesman in Madison. He has been a resident of Port Washington for the past thirty years. Norman is survived by his sisters Jane (George) Allam and Jean Jessie, as well as his brother Neal Jessie. He is further survived by his brother-in-law Hugh Buchanan, nieces Rebecca (Larry) Humphrey and Emily (Jon-Mark) Pettersen, and grand-nephew Brandon Buchanan. He is preceded in death by his parents, and his sister Lois Buchanan. A private memorial service was held on February 16th at the Eernisse Funeral Home in Port Washington.
