Nancy L. Risch of Belgium passed away unexpectedly at her home on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at the age of 81. She was united in marriage to James Risch on September 26, 1992 at St. Mary's Lake Church.
Nancy graduated from Sterling Morton High School in Cicero, Illinois in 1955. One of Nancy's favorite past-times was playing bingo with her friends and family. She enjoyed sewing, puzzles, scrap-booking and traveling. Nancy was a long-time member of Divine Savior Parish – Holy Cross Chapel and her faith was very important to her. She was a very loving and caring mother and step-mother and loved spending time with her family.
Nancy is survived by her husband James, her children Robert (Diane) Nelson, Debra (Jay) Ralston, Lindalee (Kurt) Keller, Sheryl (Rick) Weinrich, Doreen Bransted and Timothy (Donna) Nelson; stepchildren, Debra (Tim) Gierach, Nancy (Randy) Koopman, Kathleen (Bill) Leissring, Michael (Michelle DeSwarte) Risch, David (Susan) Risch, Julie (Terland Caldwell) Risch and Thomas (Sarah) Risch; Twenty-nine grandchildren; Twenty-one great-grandchildren; siblings, Ted (Eileen) Wenglinski and John Wenglinski; her special canine friend Ginger. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her grandson, Ryan Ray Tesch and sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Diane and Henry Thill.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at Divine Savior Parish – Holy Cross Chapel (5330 Hwy B, Belgium, WI 53004) with Father Todd Budde presiding. Visitation will be at the church from 9:00AM until the time of service.
