Nancy Theresa Reszczynski of Cedarburg, formerly of Milwaukee and Pewaukee passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 8, 2021. She was born to Louis and Marie (Gehl) Krueger on September 14, 1942 in Milwaukee, WI.
Nancy grew up in Milwaukee, graduated from Messmer High School in 1961. Nancy was a fun and loving spirit who treasured spending time with family the most. While growing up she could often be found dancing at Beneath the Street, taking rides in her yellow Mustang she named Tiffany, as well as late nights laughing the night away with dear friends.
She spent time working at Dutchland Dairy, and later began working for the Telephone Company. She continued to advance her career with the Phone Company, watching it change names time and again. Eventually, retiring from AT&T in 2010 as a planner in the Engineering Department. Nancy was a steadfast and committed employee during her tenure that spanned over 4 decades.
Nancy was known as a colorful storyteller, whose humor kept family stories alive with the greatest attention to details, while sprinkling in fun embellishments along the way. She was also known as an avid sports fan often times cheering loud from the stands for her two daughters' sports teams. She shared just as much enthusiasm for her favorite NBA basketball player Larry Bird and the Boston Celtics, too. Nancy was an avid bowler, loved jumping in on a friendly game of cards, and enjoyed many excursions and travel with family members across the country.
Nancy is survived by her children Aimee (Patrick) Sullivan, and Dawn (Paul) Jermstad. Her two cherished grandchildren Lainey Sullivan and Owen Jermstad. Further survived by her sisters and brothers. Kathy McComas, Susan Konzal, Carl (Charlene) Krueger, Daniel (Kathy) Krueger, Ken (Bobbie Konzal) Krueger, Linda Krueger, Steve (Sue Steffen) Krueger, and a host of adoring relatives.
Nancy was married to Gary Reszczynski on June 21, 1969. They eventually divorced but remained friends throughout her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents Louis and Marie, brother-in-law John McComas and Daryl Konzal, niece Elizabeth (McComas) Parent, among other extended family.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 23rd at 3:00 PM at St. Francis Borgia Parish, 1375 Covered Bridge Road, Cedarburg. Visitation will take place prior to the service at St. Francis Borgia from 1:30- 2:45. There will be a brief eulogy just prior to mass.
