Nancy G. LaFriskeMrs. Nancy LaFriske of Cedarburg formerly of Land Orsquo; Lakes passed away Tuesday morning April 5 2011 at her home surrounded by her family. Nancy was born November 30 1931 in Cleveland OH the daughter of R. Carl and Lillian Hillan Hummer. For many years Mrs. LaFriske worked as a client coordinator for a relocation company in Oak Brook IL. On April 18 1997 she was united in marriage with Harry LaFriske. Nancy enjoyed sailing hiking cooking gardening reading knitting and spending time snow shoeing and canoeing with her husband. Above all she loved being with her family. Nancy is survived by her husband Harry and her five daughters: Carol Kolz of Marietta GA Ellie (Larry) Hulford of Commerce GA Julia Rossiter of Jefferson WI Maggie (Jack) Wilson of Lakeside MI and Kitty (Mike) Shippen of Cedarburg WI. She is further survived by her step-daughter Jaynee (Dick) Branch of Port Orange FL 12 grandchildren 9 great-grandchildren brothers and sisters-in-law other relatives and friends. According to her wishes Nancy was cremated and private family services were held. She will be laid to rest at Oak Hill Cemetery in Land Orsquo; Lakes WI. The Eernisse Funeral Home Cedarburg assisted the family with arrangements.
