Mrs. Nancy Meins of Port Washington passed away at Horizon Hospice in Mequon early Thursday morning March 28 2013. She was 75 years old. Nancy was born in Port Washington on July 13 1937 daughter of William and Jesse Sanford Braby. She graduated from Port Washington High School with the Class of 1955. On June 24 1972 she was united in marriage with Harland Harley Meins at Grand Ave. United Methodist Church. The couple settled on Webster Street in Port Washington. Nancy was a member of St. Peter of Alcantara Catholic Church. She had a deep love of animals and enjoyed crafting in her spare time. She is survived by her husband Harley and three children: Jody (Richard) Freeland of Saukville Jill (Donald) Peiffer of Jackson and Daniel Cherny of Oostburg. She is further survived by four grandchildren: Lisa (Jeff) Kessler Angie (Matt) Kinzel Falon Hoile and Ryan (Candice) Beecher three great-grandchildren brother Ward Braby other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents one great-grandson and three brothers. Memorial Services will be held at 4:30 PM on Monday April 1 at the Eernisse Funeral Home in Port Washington. Father Tom Lijewski will preside. The family will receive visitors at the Funeral Home on Monday from 2:30-4:30 PM. Memorials are suggested in Nancy's name to the Ozaukee County Humane Society or to St. Peter of Alcantara Catholic church.
