Nadine T.
Valerio
May 28, 1941 – May 26, 2026
Nadine Valerio, of Port Washington and formerly of Bellingham, Washington, peacefully entered eternal rest in the early morning hours of Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at her home. She was 84 years old.
Nadine was born on May 28, 1941, in Madison, Wisconsin, the daughter of Marshall and Alice (nee Reichert) Thompson. She was raised in Milwaukee and graduated from Custer High School with the Class of 1959.
On June 6, 1964, Nadine was united in marriage with Arthur Valerio at North Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Milwaukee. Together they shared a devoted life of faith and service as Arthur answered calls as a WELS Lutheran pastor in Wisconsin, Washington, and Alaska.
Nadine found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She enjoyed crafting, loved to read, and cherished the time spent with her family and friends.
She will be deeply missed by her children: Del (Kelly), Kyle (Tonia), and Joel (Kim) Valerio; her ten beloved grandchildren: Jamie, Megan, Mackenzie, Brendan, Dallas, Jeffrey, Miriah, Alex, Austin, and Lance; and her ten great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her sisters, Dottie (the late Roger) Richardson and Janis (Norman Geisenheimer) Hume; brothers-in-law Jerry (the late Sharon) and Dennis (Karleen) Valerio; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many dear friends.
Nadine was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Arthur, and by her parents.
In accordance with Nadine’s wishes, private family services will be held.
The Eernisse Funeral Home of Port Washington is honored to serve the Valerio family. Online condolences may be left at www.eernissefuneralhome.com.
