MS. ELNORE O. STRAUSS Ms. Elnore Strauss formerly of the Village of Belgium passed away peacefully at the New Perspectives Group Home 3111 W. Mequon Rd Mequon where she had been a resident for the last 17 months. Ms. Strauss was born in the Town of Belgium on March 2 1921 daughter of John and Agnes Schueller Strauss. Elnore went to work at Allen Edmonds Shoe Factory and was employed there for more than 50 years. She was a lifelong member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lake Church and was very active in her faith attending church nearly every day. She was a 50 year member of the Catholic Foresters and also enjoyed traveling. Ms. Strauss is survived by 1 sister Mrs. Rose Lallensack of Port Washington 2 sisters-in-law Mrs. Agnes Strauss of Cedar Grove and Mrs. Eleanore Strauss of Belgium. She is further survived by 36 nieces and nephews other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by 7 brothers and 2 sisters. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 6PM on Tuesday August 26 2003 at St. Mary Catholic Church Lake Church. Father James Vojtik will officiate. Interment will follow the next day in the parish cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the CHURCH Tuesday August 26 2003 from 4-6 PM.
