Mrs. Moira K. Frenz of Port Washington, formerly of Milwaukee and Sturgeon Bay, passed away late Sunday evening, October 25, 2015 at Harbor Club. She was 87 years old. Moira was born November 11, 1927 in Milwaukee, the daughter of George and Elizabeth (nee Plautz) Fay. After graduating from Holy Angels High School, she went on to study at Mount Mary College. On February 5, 1949, she was united in marriage with Milen Frenz at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Milwaukee. The couple raised their family in the Milwaukee area before moving to Sturgeon Bay in 1994. For 25 years, Moira worked for Unicare Health in Milwaukee. She was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin Badgers, and enjoyed golfing, playing cards, reading, and listening to all kinds of music.
Moira is survived by her husband of 66 years, Milen and their children: David (Barb) of Franklin, Barb Frenz (Greg Fuerst) of Port Washington and Susan Frenz (John Prudlow) of Milwaukee. She is further survived by her grandchildren: Steven (Jamie) Frenz and Katie Frenz, 2 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 12 noon on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at Eernisse Funeral Home, 1600 W. Grand Ave. in Port Washington. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:30AM - 12 noon. Moira will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery in Milwaukee. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to VITAS Hospice.
