Mildred W. Fisher entered into eternal rest on Sunday, June 28, 2026. She was 89 years old.
She was born on March 22, 1937, in Manitowoc, Wisconsin to parents Erhardt Waack and Ruth (nee Pleuss) Brouchoud. Mildred graduated from Lincoln High School in Manitowoc. She was united in marriage to William F. Fisher on September 27, 1958. She worked at Fromm Laboratories in Grafton, where she held several positions.
Mildred enjoyed birdwatching, tending to her flowers and plants, and attending Friday night fish fries with her former co workers from Fromm Laboratories. She was a part of the Red Hat Ladies. Above all, she cherished her time spent with her family and friends, especially her grand and great-grandchildren.
Mildred is survived by her children Bill Fisher, Cheryl (Kurt) Johnson, Sue (Bill) Gertsch, grandchildren Sara (Ryan) Tredinnick, Mark (Samantha) Fisher, Mike (Julie) Johnson, Brandon Johnson, Matt Gertsch, and Ryan Gertsch, great-grandchildren Ava, Ellie, Theo, Benny, and Howie. She is further survived by her nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband William, siblings Lloyd, Leroy, Marie, and Margaret.
A Service for Mildred will be held at 10:30AM on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Grafton (701 Washington Street Grafton, WI 53024). The family will greet guests from 9:30AM until the time of the service at 10:30AM. Pastor Jacob Schultz will be officiating. She will be laid rest next to her husband at Woodlawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Paul Lutheran School-Grafton in Mildred’s name, are greatly appreciated.
