Obituary

Mrs. Mildred L. Bloecher of Newburg was called home to be with the Lord on Friday May 8 2015 at her home with her family by her side. She was one day shy of her 80th birthday. Millie was born May 9 1935 in Elliotville Kentucky the daughter of Lex and Georgetta (nee Fraley) Ratliff. On September 22 1951 she was united in marriage to Donald Bloecher at St. John's Lutheran Church in Newburg. Millie and Don lived on the Bloecher family farm where Millie raised their 4 children. Don her beloved husband of 61 years preceded her in death in 2013. Millie was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Newburg where she served on the Ladies Auxiliary and was very active throughout her life. She was a member of the Homemakers Club through Washington County and enjoyed gardening crafting knitting crocheting making rag rugs canning cooking and being with family. Millie is survived by three children: Don (Laurie) Bloecher Jr. of Newburg Michael C. Bloecher of Kewaskum and Donnette S. (Larry) Butler of Jackson; ten grandchildren Amy (Tim) Troy (Angie) Brandon Danielle Ben Shaundra Linnea Scott Nic Cassandra and Adrianna; six great-grandchildren: Brayden Georgia Arianna Mae Dani Lynn Cienna Rae Brandon Richard other relatives and many friends. Millie was preceded in death by her parents her son Randall Scott and her sister Thelma Miller. Funeral Services for Millie will be held at 6:00 PM on Monday May 11 2015 at Eernisse Funeral Home 1600 W. Grand Ave in Port Washington. Rev. Kurt Schaser will officiate. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Monday from 3-6PM. She will be laid to rest beside her husband in St. John Cemetery in Newburg. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Seasons Hospice Foundation. The family would like to give heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the entire Seasons Hospice team for their compassionate care and support throughout this beautiful journey. The Eernisse Funeral Home Port Washington is honored to be assisting the family with arrangements.
