Mr. Mike Ranz of W. Chestnut St. in Port Washington and formerly of Milwaukee passed away Monday night July 4 2011 at Aurora Medical Center in Grafton after a brief battle with cancer. He was 57 years old. Michael was born January 20 1954 in Anchorage Alaska the son of Warren and Patricia Grassold Ranz. He attended grade school at St. Sebastians in Milwaukee graduated from Washington High School in 1972 and then proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. Currently he was working in customer service at Wage Works in Mequon. Mike was an avid Green Bay Packers fan and enjoyed hunting fishing camping and playing sheepshead. He was a spiritual believer a generous uncle to his nieces and nephews and loved being with his family. Mike is survived by his mother Pat Ranz of Wauwatosa and his siblings: Teri (Patrick) Feiner of Prairie du Sac Rick (Rhonda) Ranz of Port Washington John Ranz and Matthew Ranz both of Milwaukee. He is further survived by nieces nephews other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Warren. A Memorial Service will be held at 1PM on Monday July 11 at Holy Cross Cemetery 7301 West Nash St. in Milwaukee. Interment will follow. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested.
