Michael Ternes of Random Lake passed away January 18, 2021 in West Bend at the age of 31. Mike was the son of Jeffrey and Mary Meyer Ternes. He was born on April 7, 1989 in Sheboygan and grew up in Random Lake. He attended local schools and graduated from Random Lake High School, Class of 2007. Mike loved sports, especially soccer, and played on the varsity soccer team at RLHS all four years. He had belonged to 4H and had participated in showing pigs and steers. He was currently employed as a carpet cleaning technician for Meyer Carpet Cleaning in West Bend. In his downtime he enjoyed playing video games, fantasy sports and cards. Those left to honor his memory include his parents Jeffrey and Mary Ternes of Random Lake, brothers Andy (Annaliza) Ternes of Neenah and Brian (Amy) Ternes of Kewaskum, nieces and nephews Aeden, Abigail, Sophia and Oliver. He is also survived by grandparents Art & Pat Ternes of Fredonia, 10 aunts and uncles: Roger (Barb) Meyer of Fredonia, James Meyer of Random Lake, Daniel (Sandy) Meyer, also of Random Lake, Peter (Chris) Meyer of Adell, Steve (Bonnie) Meyer of Belgium, Sue (Glen) Schnelle of Waldo, Ron (Terri) Meyer of Campbellsport, Ron Ternes, Linda Jacoby and John (Brenda) Ternes, all of Fredonia. He is further survived by numerous cousins and other family members. Mike is preceded in death by grandparents LeRoy and Ruth Meyer. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial held at 10:30AM on Tuesday, February 2nd, at Our Lady of the Lakes -Random Lake, 300 Butler Street, Random Lake. Father Gideon Buya will preside. The Mass will be live-streamed for those unable to attend. The family will receive visitors at the Eernisse Funeral Home, 171 N. Royal Ave. in Belgium on Monday , February 1st from 4-7PM, with a prayer vigil at 7PM. Mike will be laid to rest at St. Mary's Cemetery in Random Lake following the mass.
