Mike Janasiak of Grafton formerly of Saukville, was Born to Eternal Life on Friday April 22, 2022, at the age of 67. He was born in Milwaukee on April 28, 1954, the son of Henry and Lucille (nee Urbaniak) Janasiak.
Mike attended Holy Angels Grade School and was a Messmer High School graduate class of 1972. He was united in Holy Matrimony to Nancy Schultz at St. Catherine of Alexandria Parish on August 9, 1991. Mike enjoyed a 32-year career at the Brady Corporation where he worked as a printer. His love of cars, especially Cadillacs, lead to a job selling cars later in life. Mike loved playing hardball in his younger days and continued to stay active by bowling and golfing. He enjoyed watching wrestling, having a Prime Rib, following the St. Louis Cardinals Baseball Team, attending the Wisconsin State Fair, and cheering on #3 Dale Earnhardt. Mike was also a diehard Oakland Raiders (now Las Vegas Raiders) fan.
He was the loving husband of Nancy (nee Schultz). Dear father of Nicholas (Shoua) Janasiak of West Bend and Melissa (Karl) Peterson of Port Washington. Proud Grandpa/Punko of Sincere and Xander Janasiak, Mason, Liam, Bella, Kennedy, Emersyn and Everly Peterson. Dear brother of Thomas (Karen) Janasiak of Racine and Richard (Jane) Janasiak of Greenfield. Fond brother-in-law of Karen (Keith) Jones of Grafton, Sue (Steve) Hubing of Belgium and Sandra Hackbarth of Cedar Grove. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends, and his grand pups Gunner and Delton. He was preceded in death by his parents, younger brother Patrick Janasiak, in-laws Harold and Mildred (nee Kovalaske) Schultz, brother-in-law Wayne Schultz, and loyal companion Caddy.
Memorial Mass 5:00 PM on Friday May 6, 2022 at St. John XXlll-St. Peter of Alcantara Chapel, 1800 N. Wisconsin St., Port Washington, WI 53074. Fr. Patrick Wendt officiating. The family will greet relatives and friends on Friday at the Church from 3:00 PM until time of Mass and at a reception following the Mass. You are encouraged to wear silver and/or black attire, the team colors of Mike's beloved Raiders.
