Mr. Michael Medlin, formerly of Port Washington, passed away unexpectedly at his residence in Shorewood Saturday, October 20, 2018, at the age of 43. Mike was born in Milwaukee on January 4, 1975, son of Michael R Medlin and Karen Charnitz. He settled in the Port Washington are in the late 1990's. Most recently, Mike was a forklift operator for Shreiber Foods in Jackson where he had worked for over 20 years. On July 5, 2009, he was united in marriage with Patricia Murphy in Plymouth. The couple lived in Port Washington until she preceded Mike in death on June 17, 2015. Mike loved watching sports, particularly any college football game or Green Bay Packer game. He was also an avid Cubs fan. He was very loved and will be missed by his mother Karen (Dan Egerton) Charnitz of Glendale, sisters Kimberly (Matt) Karshna of Wautoma and Leslie (Joe) Chapman of Grafton. He is further survived by four nieces and nephews: Emma and Matthew Karshna, Jr. of Wautoma and Cole & Amber Chapman of Grafton, other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife and best friend Patricia and his loving canine companion, Louie. Per Mike's wishes, cremation will take place and no formal services will be held.
