Michael C. Lorenz, age 69 years of Milwaukee passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2019. He was born May 2, 1949 in Milwaukee, son of Phyllis and the late Michael R. Lorenz. Michael attended local schools and served in the U.S. Army from 1969 – 1971. He worked in informational services for Aurora Health Care until retiring. On September 2, 1995, he married Susan Kasprzyk at St. Veronica Catholic Church in Milwaukee. She preceded him in death in 2017. Michael was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Greendale where he enjoyed singing in the choir. He also volunteered as a driver for Southwest Interfaith Program. He is survived by his mother Phyllis Lorenz, five sisters Patrice (James) Vecchio, Mary Simpson, Irene (John) Fojtik, Colleen (Tony) Smith and Kathleen (Jeff) Patrick, 3 sisters in law Karen (Donald) Peters, Mary (the late Greg) Felhofer and Susan (the late John) Kasprzyk, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A Mass of Christian burial Saturday, April 6, 10 AM at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 6060 W. Loomis Road, Greendale. Private interment St. Adalbert Cemetery. Visitation at the CHURCH Saturday from 9 AM until time of Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Alphonsus Parish Music Ministry or Southwest Interfaith Program appreciated.
