Michael J. Brus Sr. age 51 of Port Washington passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Thursday morning September 23 2010. Michael was born in Chicago IL on September 22 1959 son of Henry and LaVerne Glowinski Brus.nbsp; He earned a BS in Biology from Loyola University in Chicago IL and worked as a laboratory technician for Abbott Laboratories in IL.nbsp; In his spare time Mike enjoyed fishing.nbsp; He is survived by his three sons; Michael Jr. Matthew and Andrew Brus all of Oak Lawn IL his brother Dr. Mark (Ruth) Brus of Sarasota FL his niece Vicki Brus of Sarasota FL and his aunt Bernadine Olejniczak of Schaumberg IL.nbsp; He is further survived by other relatives and friends.nbsp; He is preceded in death by his parents Henry and LaVerne Brus. A Memorial Service will be held at 1 PM on Saturday October 2 at Eernisse Funeral Home 1600 W. Grand Ave. in Port Washington. He will be laid to rest at St. Mary's Cemetery in Port Washington.
