Michael C. Hoffmann of Port Washington entered Eternal Life on Friday, April 9, 2021. He was 62 years old. Mike was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Carol (nee Gaulke) Hoffmann on April 26, 1958. He married Dawn Wollner on June 30, 1979 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Grafton. Together they had a daughter.
Mike graduated from Homestead High School in 1976. He retired from Pioneer Container and International Paper. Mike was a proud hospice volunteer at Lawlis Hospice in Mequon from June 7, 2011 to present. He served 2,100 hours volunteering his time there. Mike was quite the handyman, often helping his neighbors and friends. He enjoyed listening to music, especially Pink Floyd. Mike was very involved with his daughter's activities and shared many experiences with her and her friends while camping, boating, trips to Wisconsin Dells and Six Flags Great America. Mike and Dawn enjoyed visiting their daughter in Colorado and exploring the state.
Mike is survived by his wife Dawn, daughter Kerri (Rob) of Colorado, mother-in-law Audrey Wollner, brother Bill Hoffmann, brother-in-law Larry (Carol) Wollner, uncle Jerry Breitzman, special cousins Chuck (Jayne) Breitzman and Pam Breitzman, best friend since fourth grade, Rick (Helene) Richter. He is further survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
Mike was preceded in death by his mother Carol, father-in-law Lawrence Wollner, sister-in-law Gloria Stewart, special aunt Janet Breitzman, and Grandma Ethel Gaulke.
A funeral service for Mike will be held at 6:30PM on Friday, April 16, 2021 at Eernisse Funeral Home, Port Washington. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Friday from 4:30PM-6:30PM.
