A devoted husband, loving father, and proud grandfather, passed away on March 25th surrounded by family.
Mike was born in 1960 and grew up in Grafton, WI where he played for the Grafton High School football team and met his high school sweetheart, and love of his life, Kim.
He’ll be remembered for the love he had for his family, and his famously awful Dad Jokes that never failed to make those around him smile.
An engineer by trade, Mike had a remarkable mind. He seemed to have a solution for everything and could fix just about anything. Whether it was a complex problem or a simple household repair, people knew they could count on him.
He found great joy in things like camping with his family, golf cart rides with his grand-kids, and meeting his friends for dinner. He also loved making big family breakfasts; Pancakes, Coffee and Chaos! He especially enjoyed motorcycles and old cars. He appreciated how things were built, how they worked, and the stories they carried.
Mike was selfless to his core, always showing up for others. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and generosity that will live on in all who knew him.
Mike is survived by his wife Kimberly, his two daughters Jessica (Tony) Eischen and Stephanie (Josh) Eynon along with ten grandchildren, Evan, Brodie, Hannah, Leah, Tyler, Lucas, Ryan, Addison, Ellie and Logan, his mother Carol Edminster, his siblings Debra (Bill) Nielsen-Kratz, Lisa (Mike) Lecher, Margaret (Gary) Dorman, Bill (Julie) Edminster, Danyelle (Rich) Needham, brother-in-law Scott (Kathy) Paulsen, Sister-in-law Terri (Tom) Johnson, plus nieces, nephews and so many others.
Mike is preceded in death by his daughter Michelle Brecke, father Daniel Edminster, father-in-law Thomas Paulsen and mother-in-law Mary Paulsen.
There will be a Celebration Of Life, with a short service, for all who knew Mike, held at The Bunkers Restaurant in Grafton on April 12th, from 1:00-4:00pm.
