Michael V. Gregozeski Michael ldquo;Big Mikerdquo; Gregozeski of Port Washington passed away February 15 2009 at Heritage Nursing Home in Port Washington. He was 84 years old. Michael was born February 21 1924 in Pulaski WInbsp;the son of Frank and Helen Kopala Grzegorzewski. Before joining the United States Army Mike worked at Badger Outerwear in Port Washington where he met his future wife June Burton. Upon return from serving in Europe during World War II Michael was united in marriage to June on April 27 1946 at St. Maryrsquo;s Catholic Church in Port Washington.nbsp; Big Mike was employed by Wisconsin Electric Company for nearly 40 years before retiring in 1986. Michael was a member of St. Peter of Alcantara Catholic Church in Port Washington.nbsp; He had previously been a member of the Knights of Columbus and a Leader and District Commissioner for the Boy Scouts. In his spare time Michael was an avid boater and fisherman. nbsp;Michael is survived by his wife of 62 years June and their 3 children: Susan (Norman) Joplin of Fredonia John (Christine) of Port Washington and Robert (Judith) of Jackson. He is further survived by 10 grandchildren: Kristine (Craig) Gruenwald Pamela (Kevin) Reed Thomas (Cynthia) Bialzik Jill (JJ) Solonika Brian (Amy) Gregozeski Joel (Kelly) Gregozeski Daniel Gregozeski Brandon Gregozeski William (Angela) Gregozeski and Michael L. (Kristin) Gregozeski; 6 great-grandchildren: Zachary and Kayla Solonika Jack Gregozeski Kathryn Gregozeski Kade and Emma Gregozeski; one sister-in-law Josephine Gregozeski of Green Bay nieces nephews other relatives and many friends. He is preceded in death by his parents in-laws and 8 brothers and sisters. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday February 19 6PM at St. Peter of Alcantara Catholic Church 1800 N. Wisconsin St. Port Washington. Father Patrick Wendt will officiate. Entombment at St. Maryrsquo;s Mausoleum in Port Washington. The family will receive visitors at the church on Thursday from 4-6PM.
