It is with profound sadness that the family of Michael Bennett announce his passing on Friday, September 29, 2023, at the age of 52. His lengthy battle with serious medical issues and most recent cancer diagnosis revealed his unwavering ability to remain both courageous and graceful in facing life's most difficult challenge.

Forever appreciative of others and selfless by nature Michael approached life as all should with extreme kindness and daily gratitude. Asking for nothing more than to simply be included. Michael's devotion and priority towards his family was remarkable. He prioritized quality time with loved ones and made it his life's work. He had a deep connection with his sister Brooke and brother-in-law Edward (Eddie). They stood by Michael's side through every step of his journey and together faced life's challenges, offering each other unwavering support and love.

While Michael never had children of his own, his greatest accomplishment was the relationship he cultivated with his nephews Grayer and Tripp. He embraced his role as uncle with unparalleled enthusiasm. He seldom missed an opportunity to join in on their day-to-day activities and was always present for their most important celebrations. Michael was truly their biggest fan and his presence in their lives was a gift and a blessing.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 6:00PM on Friday, October 20, 2023, at St. John XXIII Catholic Parish – St. Mary's Church Site, 451 N. Johnson St. Port Washington, WI 53074. The family will receive visitors at the church from 5:00-6:00PM.

Mike's memory and kind heart will live on through his immediate family, aunts, uncles, many cousins, and dear friends. He was proceeded in death and welcomed home by his parents and older brother William.
