Obituary

MRS. MELINA L. REHM Mrs. Melina Rehm of Sunset Court in Grafton passed away peacefully at her residence surrounded by her loving family on Thursday December 13 2007. She was 87 years old. Melina was born in Green Bay the only daughter out of eight children born to Peter and Olga Servies Schott. After she completed her schooling Melina stayed at home on the farm to help raise her brothers. She met Jacob Kugel and they were united in marriage in the summer of 1946 in Green Bay. The couple moved to Milwaukee and later settled in the Grafton area. He preceded her in death in 1972. She was united in marriage with Richard Rehm on June 19 1976 in Milwaukee. Melina worked at Tecumseh Power Products for over 25 years retiring in 1984. Her children say she was a work-a-holic but that taking care of her family was her life. Her husband daughters and granddaughter returned that love proudly taking care of her the last few years of her life. She enjoyed casino junkets traveling to Las Vegas and was an avid dancer and dice player especially the game 2000. Mrs. Rehm was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Grafton. She is survived by her husband Richard of Grafton her three daughters: Lois (Richard) Knope of Port Washington Marilyn Jarvis of Sheboygan Falls and Nancy Viesselmann also of Grafton step-children Linda (David) Fischer and Rick Rehm both of Germantown. She is further survived by 6 grandchildren: Andrew Jessica Jennifer Nicole Patricia and Christopher and 3 great-grandchildren. Other survivors include her son-in-law Brian (the late Kathy) Harling of Jackson 6 brothers: Remus (Lorraine) Schott Leonard (the late Lavern) Schott Gerald (Joan) Schott Alvin (Bev) Schott Harry (Barb) Schott and Ervin (Barb) Schott all of Green Bay sister-in-law Jannie Schott of Chicago 1 aunt Rita Jouque of Arkansas 1 uncle Lawrence Servies of Green Bay sister-in-law Ann Kugel also of Green Bay nieces nephews other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her first husband step-daughter Kathy and brother Norman. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday December 18th at 1PM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church 1619 Washington Street Grafton. Father Michael Dineen will officiate. Burial will follow at the parish cemetery. The family will receive friends at the CHURCH on Tuesday from 12-1PM. The Eernisse Funeral Home of Port Washington is assisting the family with arrangements.
