M. B. Conry passed away Sunday afternoon, May 22, 2016 at Meadowview Manor in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. M.B. was born May 24, 1939 in Salisbury, North Carolina, the child of James and Margaret (nee Bryan) Conry. After graduating from Rockwell High School, M.B. earned a bachelor's degree from the University of North Carolina, and went on to graduate from Penn State with a master's degree in engineering in the mid 1960's, and a master's degree in business from the University of Missouri – Kansas City in the mid 1980's. In 1964, M.B. was hired by IBM to work for NASA in Houston at the Apollo Space Station. MB worked for days without end, and received a plaque for contributing to the Saturn/Apollo Program. M.B. continued working for IBM for 30 years, before taking a job in the Chicago area. After retirement, M.B. moved to Port Washington, Wisconsin before moving to Sheboygan. M.B. will be remembered for a sense of humor and quick wit. M.B was a world traveler who enjoyed deep sea diving, furniture making and gaming. M.B. is survived by a son Sean of Kansas City, MO, a brother, James Michael (Jean) Conry of NC, dear friend Patricia of Port Washington, other relatives and friends. M.B. will be laid to rest at Ursinus United Church of Christ Cemetery in Rockwell, NC in a private family ceremony.
