MARY E. JONES Mary Elizabeth Jones (nee Shearouse) age 74 years of 224 S. Lar Ann St. Belgium formerly of Savannah GA died peacefully Wednesday evening February 26 2003 at Columbia - St. Mary's Hospital in Mequon. Mary was born in Savannah on August 14 1928 daughter of Raymond and Helen Turner Shearouse. She was joined in Holy Matrimony with Ivy L. Jones on May 1 1959 in Savannah. He preceded her in death on June 22 1993. Mrs. Jones was a member of First Baptist Church of the Islands in Savannah as well as the Order of the Eastern Star White Star Chapter 367. She was an avid reader and enjoyed her family. A life long member of the Savannah community Mary came to Belgium to live with her daughter in 2001. Mary is survived by a son E. Dean (Lise') Burgess Jr. of Bollingbrook IL and a daughter Diane (Marty) Rennicke of Belgium WI. She is further survived by 3 granddaughters : Janice Stadler (special friend Eric Schlenvogt) of Fredonia WI Katie Bartoletta (fianc Ken Grass) of Acworth GA Sarah McGhee (husband Ashley) of Dahlonega GA 1 grandson Michael Rennicke (wife Peggy) of Belgium WI 1 great-grandson Carson Rennicke of Belgium WI nieces nephews other relatives and many friends. She is preceded in death by her husband her parents and 1 sister Alice Sage. Mrs. Jones remains will be placed next to her husband in Hillcrest Abbey Savannah GA.
