Mrs. Mary Schwanz of Port Washington passed away peacefully Wednesday morning January 2 2013. She was 80 years old. Mary was born June 30 1932 in Saukville the daughter of Walter Bubbly and Rosalie Betz Schmitz. She graduated from Port Washington High School in 1950. On May 5 1956 she was united in marriage with Armin Schwanz at St. John's Lutheran Church in Port Washington. Together they raised their family in Port Washington. Mary worked as a legal secretary in the Port Washington area for many years. She retired after working in Glendale as a secretary for the co-founder of Manpower Elmer Winter. Mary was a member of Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church in West Mequon as well as a former member of the Port Washington Women's Club. She was a former volunteer at the food pantry and a retired golfer. Above all Mary enjoyed spending time with her family and granddogs. She is survived by her husband Armin of Port Washington and their children: Douglas (Jacklyn) Schwanz Kathleen (Robert) Bentley Susan (Robert) Stoecker all of Port Washington. She is further survived by grandchildren: Matthew (Stacie) Jordan (Laura) Aaron (Morgan) and Michaella 4 great-grandchildren sister Dorothy Schelong of Shorewood sister-in-law Beverly Schmitz of Destin FL nieces nephews other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by three brothers: Wallace Wally Ralph Mike and Thomas Tom Schmitz. Private family services will be held. She will be laid to rest at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Cemetery in West Mequon. Memorials in Mary's name are appreciated to Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church or the charity of donor's choice.
