Mary Jane Murphy passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2022. She was 84 years old. Mary Jane was born in Pence, Wisconsin to William and Mary (Riederer) Lodle on February 10, 1937.
Mary Jane was united in marriage to Eugene Murphy on August 18, 1956. Mary Jane enjoyed volunteer work, card making, calligraphy, papercutting, and traveling. She spent many hours volunteering at the Pebble House, Pioneer Village and the Jackson Community Center. She was proud to have served as one of the first females to be on the Saukville Ambulance Crew, worked many years at St. Mary's Hospital in Port Washington as a CNA, Crossing Guard in Saukville, and Home Health Care Aide to so many people. Above all, family and friends were most important to her.
Mary Jane is survived by her children James (Kelly) Murphy, Gary (Connie) Murphy, Thomas Murphy (Annie) , and Sandy Maynard (Paul), son-in-law Tim Mueller, brother-in-law John, 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren with another on the way. Mary Jane is preceded in death by her husband Eugene, daughter Nancy Mueller, sisters Leone (Walter) Furyk, Helen Hansen, Elizabeth (Percy) Eternick and Charlotte (Louis A) Valle.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 28, 2022, at Eernisse Funeral Home 1600 West Grand Avenue Port Washington, Wisconsin at 1:00 PM. Reverend Linda Westphal Buth will officiate. Mary Jane's family will receive visitors from 12:00 PM until the time of the service at 1:00 PM.
