Mary A. Hockinson (Nee Lindemann), 81, passed away peacefully on May 26, 2025.

Born on December 16, 1943, the daughter of the late Anthony and Edna Lindemann, she grew up in Milwaukee. Mary wed her high school sweetheart, John "Jack" Hockinson, and they raised their family in Grafton. Mary and Jack celebrated almost 61 years of wedded bliss.

She was the dear mom of Wendy (Bruce) Peterson and Jody (Kevin) Friesen, and a proud grandmother to Meghan, Andrew, and Molly. Further survived by nieces, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Mary was preceded in death by her brother, Richard.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on June 5, 2025, at Pilgrim United Church for Christ, 1621 2nd Avenue, Grafton. Visitation will begin at 12:30 p.m., followed by the celebration service at 1:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wisconsin Humane Society Ozaukee Campus.
