Mary Clark Fultz of Belgium, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at the age of 72. She was born on May 29, 1950, to Herbert and Gloria Hartung. Mary was a 1968 graduate of Custer High School in Milwaukee.

As a young woman she volunteered at the USO where she met and later married James Fultz in Milwaukee on May 13th, 1973. During their time in the Navy, they lived in Virginia and South Carolina, eventually settling down in Lewistown, PA. They later divorced in 1983.

Mary moved back to Wisconsin from Pennsylvania and raised her daughter in Grafton. They eventually settled in Belgium in 1995, where she remained until her passing.

Mary devoted her life to her daughter and five grandchildren. She attended nearly every sporting event or school event they participated in over the years. Mary loved to put together puzzles and to play solitaire either on her computer or on her hand-held game. She enjoyed watching John Wayne western movies and murder mystery movies and shows. Mary was excited to become a great grandma in just a few short weeks.

She retired in 2016 from Johnson Controls in the credit and collection department. She worked in accounting for several companies over the years.

Mary will remain in the hearts of her daughter Cara (Kevin) Vanderpool of Random Lake; grandchildren Craig (Miranda) Fultz-Templeman of Plymouth, Kelsey, Kyleigh, Chloe, and Colten Vanderpool of Random Lake; great grandson Vaughn Fultz-Templeman (due May 30th) of Plymouth; siblings Brian (Jennifer) Hartung, Julie (Bob) Anderson, Joe (Jill) Hartung, Cindy (Gene) Nolen and John (Mary) Hartung. Mary is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her infant brother Gary Hartung.

A celebration of life will be held at 6:30PM on Friday, May 12, 2023, at Eernisse Funeral Home, 171 N. Royal Avenue, Belgium, WI 53004. Pastor Wayne King will preside.  The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 4:30-6:30PM.
