Mary F. Heinan nbsp; Ms. Mary Heinan of Belgium Gardens formerly of Port Washington and Milwaukee passed away on Friday December 4 2009.nbsp; She was 100 years old.nbsp; Mary was born in Brno Czechoslovakia in January 21 1909 daughter of Frank and Marie Slejza Chovanec.nbsp; She immigrated to the United States as a young girl.nbsp; In July of 1934 Mary was united in marriage with Fred Heinan MD.nbsp; He preceded her in death. Mary was a legal secretary for the firm of Foley amp; Lardner in Milwaukee retiring in 1974.nbsp; She moved to Port Washington in 1997.nbsp; Mary was known to be a great cook.nbsp; She was active in volunteer activities at area hospitals and enjoyed the company of her many friends.nbsp; She is survived by her three children: Ruth (David) Springob of Belgium Carole Hanzel of Milwaukee and James (Carolyn) Heinan of California.nbsp; She is further survived by 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.nbsp; Mary is preceded in death by her brother Frank Chovanec and her sister Rosalie Otto.nbsp; A Memorial Service is pending at this time.nbsp; br /Service:br /pA Memorial Service will be held at a later date./p
